_{so FINALLY, i posted a feature : ]

you know what to do... show these artists some support by watching them and commenting/faving their work.

i would especially suggest watching who has a gallery overflowing with beautiful photographs.

i'm sorry i haven't updated or uploaded much, starting college has been kind of hectic and busy. i promise i will upload some of my work from the summer soon - i had some couples shoots and other little pieces i've only uploaded to my portfolio.

school is great, i absolutely LOVE the city, i've made a lot of new friends, and there is someone kind of special in my life. ; ] so tell me YOUR story. what have you been up to? do you have any ideas for photographs for me? tell me your favorite love quote. just talk to me.

_{i just wanted to tell all my watchers and faithful followers that i am going to take a little break from deviantART. you've probably noticed i haven't been that active recently anyway. i'm still feeling very creative and i have lots of photo projects up and coming, but i have college to look forward to next week, and sorting some things out in my personal life, so i won't have as much time to update my account here. i will probably post a september feature in the next few days, since i was delinquent in posting an august one (sorry about that) and i will still be faving/commenting/critiquing, just not uploading anything new for a while.

in other news, i have a shoot with a friend on monday... it's going to be really different for me in a great location, so wish me luck! also, i'm going downtown to the city tomorrow and bringing my camera, so hopefully i will get a lot of urban shots to share. i've lined up a lot of shoots in the next few weeks, and i'm getting paid now, so it's kind of nice to be getting compensation for doing something i love. if there are any photographers here who have any advice for me in terms of doing shoots and charging, please let me know, i can use all the advice i can get right now! also, if any of you watchers are aware of any photography contests/online interview/publishing opportunities, please let me know. : ]}

_{summer is here!

dappled sunlight, popsicles melting on the concrete, sticky nights, the rush of cars outside in the rain-soaked streets, and the lulling melody of crickets. like it or not, it's here.

as for me, i'm the photographer at a graduation party this weekend. wish me luck, this is something new for me and i hope it goes well! i also got a new lens for my camera: [link] as my graduation present.

i have soooo many shoots scheduled for the summer, so i will be uploading lots. after the party shoot, i have a girl, her boyfriend, and baby to photograph, so lots of new and different things from me.
